THAILAND LOOK TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION IN ACC WOMEN’S U19 PREMIER CUP

Thailand will face Qatar tomorrow morning in the first quarter-final of the ACC Women”s U19 Premier Cup. Thailand topped Group A after convincing wins over Myanmar and Japan.
Aphisara Suwanchonrathi was the star player in both matches as she made 58 from 49 balls against Myanmar and followed with 65* in 53 balls against Japan.
A brilliant pair of innings showed her rich potential for the future and she had recently played several useful innings to see Thailand home to victory in the senior Women’s Premier Cup.
Thailand U19s .posted totals of 145 for 7 against Myanmar and 156 for 7 against Japan and the well-drilled bowling attack shared the wickets around as Myanmar were dismissed for 24 and Japan 27.
The winners of the four quarter-finals will all qualify for the U19 Women’s Asia Cup so Thailand will be looking to continue their rich vein of form against Qatar.
UAE face Malaysia, Indonesia play Bhutan and Nepal take on Japan in the other quarter-finals.
