Thailand beat Nepal by 56 runs to reach the semi-finals of the Premier Cup and also qualify for the Women’s Asia Cup.
Phannita Maya and Nannapat Khonkaroenkai again laid the base for the Thailand innings as Nannapat made 62* from 51 balls as she increased the pace at the end of the innings.
A total of 130 for 4 soon looked out of reach for Nepal as Thipatcha Putthawong took two early wickets which took her level with India’s Deepti Sharma at the top of the wicket-taking list in women’s T20Is.
Thipatcha now has 161 wickets with some fantastic bowling statistics to her name as well as Nepal made 74 for 7.
