THAILAND MUCH IMPROVED AGAINST BANGLADESH
Thailand probably gave their best performance in the global qualifier but Bangladesh were just too strong for them as they won by 39 runs.
Thailand reduced Bangladesh to 12 for 2 and after a good recovery from Bangladesh Thipatcha Putthawong led Thailand’s fightback with 3 for 22.
22 in the last over took Bangladesh to 165 for 8 but Thailand’s three best batters all made runs with Natthakan Chantham hitting 46 in 41 balls with 7 fours.
There is still hope for Thailand but they need to win their last two matches to have a chance of reaching the T20 World Cup.
